“Here is your country. Cherish these natural wonders, cherish the natural resources, cherish the history and romance as a sacred heritage, for your children and your children’s children. Do not let selfish men or greedy interests skin your country of its beauty, its riches or its romance.” —Theodore Roosevelt
While its a noble idea to colonize another planet and try to make it habitable for mankind, making sure the human race does not perish out of its own misdoings, it is a better idea to fix this one planet we still call HOME. Its ironic that a portion of the common mass are constantly fighting the odds trying to reverse the damage while people holding positions of great power and responsibility shamelessly deny facts like climate change and global warming.
We do not need to celebrate another earth day just for the sake of it. Let our actions speak for themselves. Let us not destroy what is left of this planet.
Let us preserve this ONE TRUE HOME, who’s beauty is unmatched and unlike anything else. From barren forests to pristine blue oceans, frozen lakes in winters to a display of spectral colors during fall, I have tried to capture the beauty of nature in the following few photographs. My little tribute to the planet and environment I belong to.
At the end of the day its not Earth Vs Mankind, it’s Earth and Mankind.
